On-board proccesing plants
Fish tanks for fishing vessels designed to improve efficiency, productivity, ergonomics, safety of the fishing vessel and the quality of the fish.
Innfish specialises in improving the efficiency of fish management aboard vessels that catch hake, blue whiting, horse mackerel, mackerel, sardines, cephalopods, etc.
APPLICATIONS
- Vacuum pumping the fish improves the efficiency of all fish handling processes, from the sea to the container.
- By applying slurry ice fish is cooled effectively.
- Automatic classification by size.
- Ergonomic packaging systems.
- Systems for lifting boxes from the hold.
ADVANTAGES
Profitability
Reduction of manual labour:
- No brailing.
- No shovelling.
- No crushing or transporting of ice.
Increased fish-catching ability:
- Because the net does not have to be hauled on board the whole catch can be used, meaning the net does not have to be cast again that day.
- The speed of emptying the net is increased with respect to brailing.
Improved quality gives the fish a longer useful life, meaning more demanding markets can be accessed.
Quality
We improve the quality of the fish’s health and hygiene:
- The fish does not touch the floor or non-food contact surfaces.
- We guarantee all the fish is cooled quickly.
- When the fish is delivered to the market, it has already been classified.
Safety on board
- Eliminating brailing means the vessel can be kept completely shut while the most risky operation is in process.
- The pumping process enables the fish to be loaded directly inside the hold, providing the vessel with greater stability.
Improved working conditions
- Arduous tasks such as loading boxes, shoveling the fish, crushing ice, etc. are eliminated.
- Ergonomic work posts: All the fish is handled at a height of 1 m, thus preventing having to work in unhealthy positions.
AVAILABLE TECHNOLOGY
- Vacuum pumping system with a pumping capacity of 100 m3/hour from the rig to the hold and from there, to the reservoir.
- Roller classifiers for up to 20 tonnes/hour and 3 sizes.
- Slurry ice generators.
- Slurry ice storage tanks and a hose distribution system.
- Hydraulic service lifts.
- Processing lines.
